Computer Communication Development Institute
SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
I'm JHONDER TAYAM — a 3rd year Computer Science Student and Software Developer based in Sorsogon City, Philippines. I'm a proud member of HALL OF CODES and Scholar in OWWA program, currently studying at the Computer Communication Development Institute; and I am Former Personal Student Assistant of Administrator in our Institute. during my free time, I enjoy building systems, web applications, and turning my complex ideas into reality.
Every project starts with understanding the problem. I analyze requirements, plan the architecture, and choose the right tools — whether it's a Java application for tourist information, a C# Windows Forms calculator, or a PHP voting system. Planning first saves hours of debugging later.
I build desktop applications (Java, C# Windows Forms), web applications (PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and interactive interfaces (WebGL, particle effects, animations). From Sorsogon Tourist Spot App to Pork Hub — I turn ideas into working software.
Once the plan is solid, I move into actual development. I write clean, readable code, break features into small chunks, and test every module before moving on. Whether it's a C# Windows Forms desktop app or a PHP web system, I make sure every line has a purpose.
I work across desktop and mobile environments — from Visual Studio for C# Windows Forms, to VS Code for web development, and even Termux/Acode for coding on the go. Version control with Git & GitHub keeps every project organized and trackable.
After coding comes the most critical part — testing and debugging. I test edge cases, validate user inputs, and make sure the system behaves correctly under different scenarios. A feature isn't done until it's been tested, broken, fixed, and tested again.
I deploy projects through Vercel for web apps and GitHub for source control. Every project comes with clean documentation, a proper README, and a working demo. Deployment isn't the end — it's the moment the project starts living in the real world.
A Java application designed to present information about tourist destinations in Sorsogon.
A replica-style credit application for practicing logic, calculations, input processing, fees, taxes, and result presentation.
A desktop application for processing service-related calculations through a graphical interface.
A calculation-based application implementing processing fees, taxes, and credit-related results.
A desktop application designed to calculate lot-related costs and values from user input.
An e-commerce-style web project featuring product presentation, interactive controls, hover effects, and multimedia elements.
An experimental portfolio with interactive backgrounds, particle effects, galaxy effects, mouse interaction, animated loaders, and responsive layouts.
A web application project focused on voting logic, user input, and server-side processing.
A Python backend for exam checking — recently created as part of ongoing development and capstone work.
An HTML-based optical illusion project exploring visual effects and browser rendering.
A revamped personal website project focusing on layout, design, and web presentation.
An ongoing capstone project for BSCS 3 — focusing on real-world application development and problem solving.
A versatile toolkit built from real projects — spanning desktop applications, web development, interactive interfaces, and problem-solving. Every skill listed here was honed through hands-on building, testing, and debugging.
My academic journey as a Computer Science student at the Computer Communication Development Institute (CCDI) — from 1st year fundamentals to 3rd year advanced topics in software engineering, algorithms, and real-world application development.
